Having noticed for a while the incredible structures that Timberkits were making from following their Instagram account, we always wanted to have one but didn’t know where we would put it. Suffice to say, when it came time to rebuild our boathouse at the cottage we reached out to Steve and Shannon to see what was possible. From the moment we went to their facility to meet them we knew that they were the family and company we wanted to work with. We were given a tour of their facility and got to watch their amazing structures being made from scratch. Shannon walked us thru each of our options for end pieces, stains, lighting, pre drilled holes etc…. Not a single question that we asked went unanswered and without details behind the answers. Within a matter of a few weeks we had the design done, the colours and options picked out and it was being built at their facility. Steve and his team managed to tough out a couple winter days in Muskoka using the frozen lake as their staging site and within 48 hours the frame was built. Pictures can’t even do this majestic structure justice as to how magnificent and beautiful it truly is. From the moment we met Steve and Shannon, to the moment they finished the structure, every single engagement we had with them was enjoyable and exactly how you want to work with a contractor on a dream structure that will be generations of enjoyment within our family. Bravo Timberkits on everything you did for our family in bringing our dream boathouse to reality. Not many times in our lives are we overly excited about something nor do products exceed the expectations we dreamed about, you did both. We are truly grateful for the overall experience we had with your team.
